====== Wee Jas ======

Wee Jas has had a strong, strategic influence on my game world, through the Wangate empire.  Necromantic priests and mages took over most of the cities surrounding the Hann Sea, using armies of undead that travelled using portals (called Wangates) connected to The Paths of the Dead. The Wangate Empire was finally defeated, and most of the Wangates were closed -  however, the faith wasn't completely eradicated.  There are three separate 'churches' spread around my campaign world.

Note:Wee Jas started off as a Lawful Neutral deity, changed to having Evil tendencies, but, with 5e, seems to have returned to her earlier philosophies.
===== The Twabeck Temple =====
The temple is associated with the Magic College in Twabeck, and has a long history that stretches back to the time of the Wangate Empire.   However, as the empire fell apart the temple broke away from the Wangate Sect, and started to revere Wee Jas in her aspect as a deity of magic.  While they still recognize necromancy as a legitimate art it is rarely practiced, and then only at the lowest level.  Philosophically, this view is generally seen as LN.

===== The Sakharan Cults =====
Found in the city states of Sakhar, these semi-independent cults oversee the Pyramid-Tombs of the city's previous rulers, which are said to house the local City-Deity.  However, most northern scholar believe they house numerous high-level undead, with some, perhaps, at quasi-deity status.    These aren't so much a Public faith as something that goes on regardless.  Some of the Pyramid-Tombs are believed to be a hangover from the days of the Wangate Empire, although others have been constructed much more recently.  Philosophically, this view is generally seen as LN(E).
 
===== The Wangate Necromancers =====
Left over from centuries before, pockets of undead necromantic priests and mages still survive, particularly in Galinia - and these immortal casters still follow the old ways.  There are rumours that some Wangates still exist, and that there is some level of communication between different pockets of these evil, undead necromancers.  Philosophically, this view is generally seen as LE.
