  * **The Lord's Keep** - a simple wooden keep, consisting of a bailey and a great blockhouse.  It houses the troops required to patrol Varnhold and the surrounding lands.
  * **The Grange** - a large barn (granary) that is used for the storage of grain, and other foodstuff, produced locally.

  * **Erastil's Chapel** - A daughter House of the church of Erastil in Restov.
  * **Pharasma's Graveyard** - supported by the Pharasmin Abbey in Tusk.
  * **Abadar's Chapel** -  Supported by the Cathedral in Tusk.

  * **WSM Merchants** - with a serai and shop here already, WSM can be expected to grow and consolidate their presence here.
  * **The Waterhorse Inn** - Provides good quality food and accommodation to travellers and residents alike.
  * **Happy Delver Brewery** -  Makes Dwarvish Stout, and is owned by the dwarven Devale clan.
  * **Lex's Leather Works** - Tanning hides and making things from the leather they produce.
