Drelev

Baron Drelev was sent south to create a new settlement, protect river trade and guard Brevoy's southern borders. His sponsors are House Surtova, House Lebeda and House Khavortorov.

Baron Drelev has built a settlement, called Fort Drelev, on the west side of the lake, about 100 miles south of Wyvernstone Bridge. While the lake is relatively clear of pirates, trade through the Hooktongue slough, south of Drelev, is very dangerous and has been getting even more dangerous recently. There have been quite a few people moving to different parts of Southern Region, due to dissatisfaction with the way that Fort Drelev is run.

• Politics: The original settlement was sponsored by The Surtova, Lebeda and Khavortorov, although Surtova are the most influential patrons by far. However, Baron Drelev’s reputation has diminished as trade south via the East Sellen has fallen.
• Risk: Is in danger of becoming a dead-end trade route.
