Sootscale

Home to a tribe of Kobolds and their Silvermine. Chief Sootscale, leader of the tribe, has negotiated an arrangement where the Kobold's control their own territory, with limited interference from Midmarch.

Trade with Sootscale is managed by Lord Marik Aeris, of New Dawn.

You may only visit the House Aeris Trading Post. You may not visit the Sootscale Kobolds directly. You may not wander the area freely.

• Aeris Trading Station - If you wish to deal in trade at Midmarch, you must see Pekwik, the kobold who is Lord Marik's representative here.
  • Aeris merchant House - Pekwik's home and office for Aeris trading in Sootscale
  • Aeris Jetty - mainly for trading silver ore, although a small amount of traditional trade as well.
  • Aeris Store - selling minor goods from Midmarch to the Kobolds.

BEWARE: Kobold Law applies throughout the area - it is much harsher than Midmarch Law.
