 +====== River Serai ======
 +
 +{{ :colonization_game:campaign_rules:riverserai.jpg?400| Note:}}Intended for trading in inhospitable areas, the River Serai  is a lightly fortified merchant base that includes a jetty and warehouse, along with a shop and a very simple inn.  It is best suited to wilderness areas where there is some expectation that the local tribes and clans will trade.  It has the secondary benefit of supporting a few hunters, trappers, fisherfolk and even itinerant traders.
 +
 +The jetty enables river transportation of goods and people, while the inn provides accommodation for the few residents and visiting crews.  Small storage areas (area 10)  make mini-warehouses for the various people who work from the Serai.
 +
 +When built with a strong palisade wall, and wooden buildings this cost 5000gp.  Upgrading to stone (walls, towers and keep) adds another 3000gp to the cost.

 +**NOTE**:  The image shows the more expensive stone wall and keep.
