 Amelie de leMaistre was sent to New Stetven from Ustalav, when Henry and Arice were children (during the War without Rivals) to protect the family from the effects of the war.  It was fortunate because Armond leMaistre, Master of Feldgrau, lost his life, his lands, most his family and nearly all of his retainers during the war.
