====== Building a Home ====== You can use any building, that contains a bedroom, as a home - although if it also serves a business function, you would not earn any rent from it. The following standard buildings all contain at least one bedroom and can be used as a home. Some have more than one bedroom, and that information is listed in parentheses after the entry. Some of the larger buildings also include lodgings (or bunks) that can be used for servants or a garrison. Academy, Alchemist, Bardic College, Caster’s Tower, Castle (x3), Cathedral, Exotic Artisan, Farm, Fort, Garrison (x2), Herbalist, House, Magical Academy, Mansion (x4), Military Academy, Noble Villa (x4), Orphanage, Palace (x6), Temple, Tree House (x2) & Witch Hut. **NOTE:** the Exotic Artisan home is suitable for any crafter - magical or mundane - with facilities suitable for one craft activity. If you want more than one craft workshop, you will have to add as an upgrade. You can find costs for each building at [[pathfinder:campaignsystemii:buildings:buildingslist|Building Lists]] \\ And details in the [[https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/downtime/buildings-and-organizations/#buildings|Paizo buildings List]] You may also create custom homes using the[[https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/downtime/rooms-and-teams/#rooms|Paizo Room Lists]]. However, the home must be sensible and acceptance is always at the discretion of your GM. You may also customise or upgrade standard buildings using those lists, however new rooms must be able to fit in the building, and there might be an extra cost if extra floors, etc, are created.
