People who you have met.

++++ Brief notes on Status and Titles|
  - Captain, Lady of X, Lord of X -  status equivalent to minor aristocracy.  Perhaps Squire of the Manor equivalent.
  - Free Captain - probably the equivalent of a Knight.  Free Captains might also be 'Lord/Lady of' a town or an island.
  - Pirate Lord - Free Captain with a seat on the pirate council.  The most powerful are often 'Lord/Lady of' a city or town.
  - The Hurricane King - King of The Shackles Pirates.  Lord of Port Peril,

  * **Free Captain Barnabus Harrigan** - Notorious Pirate Captain of //The Wormwood//, who press-ganged you.  He probably doesn't like you all that much, after you stole a ship from him.
  * **Free Captain Pegsworthy** - Peglegged pirate who has at least two ships and doesn't like Captain Harrigan.  You bumped into him at Rickety's, and he conducted the launch ceremony for //Stormwhisperer//.
  * **Lady Agasta Smythee** - Lady of Tidewater Rock on Windward Isle, (widow of the late Captain Bert Smithee) she married Kaleb Bloodwyne, Captain of //Thresher//.  They are your best supporters and allies.   Kaleb and Lady Smythee have started to claim the whole of their island chain as their property, and patrol it with //Golden Brown//.
  * **Captain Ebbe 'Feral' Smit** - Ex-captain of the pirate longship //Cayman// (now destroyed) and follower of Free Captain Stella Fane.   You met at Goatshead, and the crews were involved in a bar-brawl, although the outcome was 'mutal respect'.  She helped you take //Dominator// (now //Stormthunderer//) and finished owning your old ship //Stormwhisperer//.
  * **Rickey Hake** - Proprietor of Rickety's Squibs -  a boatyard miles away from anywhere.  It is the best place to get a ship's looks changed, so that it isn't immediately obvious that it has been stolen.
