A town, built by Sahkaran adventurers and settlers. Set on the bank of a wide river mouth, and protected by batteries of heavy catapults, it is the centre of Sakharan life in Drai Shon.
In the middle of town, the base of a Pyramid can clearly be seen Long with a few workers hauling stones up the sides to complete the next course of stones.
DM Note:
Sakar has 'tradition' of keeping their dead rulers (and priests) in a Pyramid - mummified by priests of Wee Jas, they are known as The City Gods. In times of need, the undead within the Pyramid, leave they sanctuary and attack raiders, enemy soldiers - and just about anyone else. Locals know to run for the hills when the City Gods are released. Some of the greatest leaders are much more dangerous than a normal, every day, mummy. The head priest, who came out to start the Temple was chosen for his great age, and was mummified as soon as he died -the pyramid is occupied! Note, there will be a few early heros and adventurers in the pyramid as well.
