Maruma is always depicted as a woman, although she may be any age. Many temples and shines depict a Maiden, Mother and Crone.

Treat everyone, and everything, with respect - be they People, Animals or Plants. Do not abuse them. But do not allow yourself to be abused either, for you are entitled to respect as well.

Followers: Maruma has few dedicated followers, although most women say a small prayer to her occasionally, especially if they feel that they are nor being treated with the respect they deserve. Priests : priests of Maruma are always women, but can come from a variety of backgrounds.
