The guards do not go out to fight your enemies, but stay in town keeping watch, maintaining order – and defending the walls (etc). They consist of a mixture of regular guards (Warrior 3, Light Armour & LXB), ‘occasionals’ warriors and experts who work a few shifts as part of the Militia, and Watchmen who patrol the town calming trouble, stopping fires, catching…
