+Sir Roderick has a deal with a local Grippli Tribe – he employs a few of their youngsters as herders, to look after his water buffalo, and he will give them sanctuary should the Bogard’s come. The tribe are also his main trading partners in the wetlands, and they (in  turn) trade deeper into the marsh than he could.  The water buffalo are returned to the stockade each evening, then milked in the morning before they are returned to the marshes, and the milk is turned into cheese for shipment  back to Tas Dann.
