+{{ :consolidated:finaroka:finaroka_new_small.png?200|}}Finaroka is still a small and fairly unsophisticated town, although it is the capital of this small island chain and supports the burgeoning settlements in the Mulcroft Delta and Ozgryn.   However, it is well run, by The Governor and the priests of Abadar.   It has its own small defence force, which is bolstered by guards from the Golden Billet, whose  commander for the region is based in the town.  While the main buildings are listed below, you will find any number of small shops and businesses, dealing mainly with the everyday items that go towards making a town work properly.  However, there are also a couple of shops catering for the everyday needs of adventurers - such as armour, weapons, tents, ammunition and trail rations ...

   - **The Dockyard**
     - **[[consolidated:finaroka:finaroka_naval_base|Finaroka Naval Base]]** is home to the small squadron of Imperial Navy ships assigned to Finaroka.  Technically, they are only here to protect citizens of Hann and their possessions -  but they form the main naval defence force for Finaroka.  They have the facilities to repair and maintain ships, and (for a fee) can be induced to repair civilian vessels.

     -  **Commercial Docks** - Close to the Naval Base, the commercial dock has three wharves and a number of warehouses.  FFTC control the wharves and own most of the warehouse space here.
   - **Fisherman's Quay**  is home to fishermen, crafters and some of the less well off.  Fishing boats dock here, and their catch is handled in  the waterfront buildings, with some prepared for sale in the market, with more is smoked, dried and preserved for shipment back to the Hann Empire.  The district has other businesses that cater to the less wealthy members of the population.

     - **The House of the Small Gods** -  close to the docks, the House of the Small Gods has shrines dedicated to Takri, Shan and Azan.  – Many sailors and fisherfolk find their way there, to make small offerings.
   - **The Market Square** – filled with farmers, fisher folk and other small traders selling their wares,  you buy a market trader's licence, from the temple of Abadar.  Fish and local farm produce occupy many stalls, but you can also find a soup kitchen, a bakery stall and others selling day-to-day and general items.  Quite often you will find a busker or two, or even a travelling barber. A number of retail premises are gathered around the market square, along St Cuthbert's Shrine.

   - **Residential District** This area contains the homes of the middle class members of the population.  Ship's Captains, Lawyers, Architects, Adventurers and other professionals live here - this includes Sir Pawlin Hardthorne of The Golden Billet and Sir Simmik Elrona, who owns a lot of property in Fisherman's Quay.
