+Tusk is an independent City-State in West Telida and has become the focal point for trade in the north.  Old Keep, Sunsmarch and the Old Frontier region depend on it, while both Farmarch and Pretipark send a fair amount of goods downstream to The Tannery.
+Tusk is represented on The Hann Council by the Lord Mayor, Lord Mordane.

+===== Overview =====
+As well as the city itself, Tusk includes a five large towns, a few smaller towns and their surrounding village.  The five main towns were founded by some of the earliest, and most successful, adventurer explorers, and have earned their founders the title of Lord.  They all have a commercial specialism, an interest of the lord, which has often earned them a significant income.
+  * Silverton -  Lord Cass Mordane:  Specializes in entertainment and has built a Bardic College in Silverton.

+  * Newgate - Lady Bai leMaistre-Kao: Headquarters of DELEM, a Merchant house specialising in overland transport.

+Tusk is governed by a Noble Council, made up of the most successful city founders.

+  * Councillors:  Lady Bai leMaistre-Kao, Lord Marik, Lady Safiya, Lord Cyrus, Lord Adoven & Lady Pipre.
+Each member of the council is a full lord.  Those who control a town take that as part of their title.  Those without towns  (Adoven, Pipre, Andalon)  all hold the title of Lord/Lady of Tusk.
+Lesser Nobles, such as Swordlord Yitis and Lord Falke, hold the title of Nobile and are consulted on important matters, although they are not a formal part of the council and do not have a vote.  There are quite a few of these minor lords, mostly less successful founding PCs or junior members of the great families.
