+  Little more than a large village, this small town grows much of the cereal used in the March.  Caravans from between Edgemoor and Northold stop here regularly, taking grain out and bringing other goods in.   Andros 'Bigjob' Tassou (a Half-Orc) is the town's Mayor and is responsible for the town's management, he is responsible for collecting the Taxes, tolls and fees that fund the local administration and guard patrols.
 +
+  * **Granton Fort** - is built around the original look out tower.  Once the Frontier moved on, it lost its main military purpose, but still provides a refuge for the residents in times of need.
+    * **The Keep** - once a simple watch tower, it was extended to make a small keep, although now it serves as the town hall.  The Mayor, Bigjob Tassilou, runs the town from here, and lives in one of the apartments.  He has a ++small garrison|(5X Golden Billet, 5x Guards, 5x Auxiliaries)++, who keep order, keep records and patrol the area.    The large common room of the Keep serves as both a courtroom and public meeting room, as required.
+    * **The Cob of Corn** - Once the soldiers' commons, this roadhouse serves for entertainment and food.  It has two basic bunk rooms, each with six beds - which are generally used by caravan teamsters and guards.
+    * **Stock Pens** - Mainly used to hold horses and donkeys when the trade caravans come through.
+    * **Market** - The clear patch inside the gate is used as a local market.  There are often one or two people there selling produce from the smallholdings, but it comes into its own when the trade caravans are in.
 +  * -
 +  * **Pharasma's Shrine** - Holy House and graveyards.
+  * **Falke Mill** - a donkey driven mill that grins the corn ... with a house for the miller, a small barn and a small stable for the donkeys.
 +  * -
+  * **Smallholdings** - small independent farms that keep a few goats and chickens and grow simple crops. Smallholders often have second jobs to help make ends meet, but here they can also grow maize, which the Roth Brewery ++buys for cash|(The smallholders don't make much, but it is real money!)++.
 +  * -
+  * **Roth Farm** is the home and holding of Marayne Roth, scion of a well established family from down south.  She says that her family are publicans and brewers, although rumour has it that there are a number of renowned adventurers in her family tree. While she oversees her businesses, it is said that she spends a lot of her time writing songs and stories from 'The Frontier' to send back home. With a farmhouse and outbuildings, the farm grows, mostly,  maize, for use in its brew house, and employs a lot of full-time workers. Admin details for Marayne Roth
+    * **Workers Cottages** - cottages for the workers.
+    * **Roth House** - a larger, stone, house occupied by Marayne Roth, and her ++servants|(Cook/Housekeeper, personal maid, handyman, footman - supported by a locals who come in and help out on a part-time basis)++.  There is a small stable (2 horses) and a small garden attached to the house.  ++NOTE|(Use the floor plan for a SmallManorHouse)++
+    * **Brewery** - Various buildings, including a cottage for the chief brewer.  It makes ale from mixed cereal grains (mainly maize/corn) and herbs from the farm. They make ++Frontier Best|(First run ale, that is stronger and generally sold in bottles)++, ++Frontier Ale|(Standard local ale, sold to taverns in kegs)++ and ++Small Beer|(not very strong, sold to locals from the door of the brewery, or shipped in kegs)++.
 +  * -
+  * **Home Farm** - a large mixed economy farm, leased from Lord Falke, that produces most of the town's vegetables and dairy products.  Cereals, such as wheat and oats, fill the remaining fields.
 +  * -
+  * **Shrike Farm** - a new farm, mainly growing cereals (maize, oats and barley) although a few fields grow vegetables to help feed the town.
