 +This section gives a brief overview of ships that you might find in The Shackles and Fever Sea.  It is an eclectic mix of vessels from around the world.  Resale values are for an undamaged ship, that isn't regarded as stolen in the port of sale.  Naval vessels are more heavily armed that civilian vessels.

 +  * **Sailing Ships**  (all sail at speed 90 or 100 for some naval vessels)
 +    * [[Cutters]] (1 Mast) - resale value 4000gp - Gaff rig, used by navies and smugglers, small cargo hold.
 +    * [[Brigs]] (2 Masts) - resale Value 4500gp - General use, medium cargo hold.
 +    * [[Ships]] (3 Masts) - resale value 5000gp - The classic sailing ship of the golden age of sail.  General use, large cargo hold.
 +    * Man-o-War (4 masts) - resale value 15000gp - Navies only, very heavily armed, medium cargo hold.  You need a fleet to take one.
 +    * Junks (Eastern) - resale value 7500gp - Classic eastern vessel, for general or military use, only needs 15 crew, medium cargo hold.

 +  * **Galleys** - ships that use sail and oars for propulsion.  Rarely used by merchants.  
 +    * Galley - resale value 15000gp - Top Speed 120!  Very heavily armed, large crew, medium cargo hold, short range.  Naval use for defending cities.
