Fermont
Named for the Fermont headland, which is separated from the mainland by a narrow neck of land, Fermont is Galinia's main farming village. A palisade and ditch cross the land-bridge, keeping the whole safe from raiders and wandering predators. A winding path connects the top of the headland to a small jetty, while a large derrick has been rigged to help get goods down to the jetty below. It was the first part of the Nome Complex to be built and was used as a staging post when Tas Dann and Southferry were built.
There is a small village, with a mill, general store, tavern and a shrine dedicated to Esratil. Beyond that are the fields, grains of different types, onions, peas, beans and root vegetables are the main crops, while chickens supply eggs for the town.
