Southferry is little more than a defended gateway. Inside the palisade there is a small inn, The Magpie, which offers food, drink and accommodation in bunk rooks, a stable, a jetty and a lodging house (offers room only accommodation on a long term basis). Ironically, Southferry was opened well before Tas Dann was completed, to allow basic hunting and exploration of the mainland. It enabled contact between the Lady Portia and the Dwarves, and she was able to contract for their stone working skills during the redevelopment of Tas Dann keep.

There are few people who live here, but many of those are hunters, trappers or foragers who bring in food for the town. Most of the rest staff the various businesses here.
