Southferry is little more than a defended gateway. Inside the palisade there is a small inn, The Magpie, which offers food, drink and accommodation in bunk rooks, a stable, a jetty and a lodging house (offers room only accomodation on a long term basis).

There are few people who live here, but many of those are hunters, trappers or foragers who bring in food for the town. Most of the rest staff the various businesses here.
