Military Buildings
You probably won't need Military buildings, unless you are building a settlement of some sort, or you are intending to set up a mercenary company. Unless you are out in the wilderness, you will need to get permission from the local lord, or town council, before you even start on any military buildings. People are always wary of troops in their town, that they don't control.
However, the costs given below are only the starting point. Military buildings are not businesses and do not earn you an income, so any troops must be paid for, either out of your Cost of Living Expenses, or by regular cash payments.

M | Watchtower | 1,470 | A tall structure that serves as a guard post. |
M | Barracks | 3,700 | A building to house guards, militias, or other military forces. |
M | Bandit Camp, Large | 4,270 | This semipermanent camp includes a few simple wooden structures hidden from the view of prying eyes by Blinds, allowing dozens of bandits to operate in the wilderness year-round with relative security. |
M | Redoubt | 5,150 | The reinforced, highly defensible structures built into the natural terrain. |
M | Garrison | 5,820 | A large building to house armies, train guards, and recruit militias; it is larger and more versatile than a Barracks. |
M | Fort | 6,050 | A fortified outpost for bandits, mercenaries, soldiers, or dangerous humanoids. |
M | Military Academy | 6,100 | An institution dedicated to the study of war and the training of elite soldiers and officers. |
M | Castle | 7,390 | An elaborate fortified home, a noble’s retreat, or the heart of a settlement’s defenses. |
