Your character might want to settle down somewhere, perhaps even retire and buy an inn (or a house) and start a family, or perhaps they want to build a castle, or establish a town - this section that covers those, and more.

The buildings from the Downtime Buildings page are available, and they cost the same whether you buy an existing building, or build afresh. However, unless you are building in unclaimed territory, miles from anywhere civilized you will probably be charged a 'registration fee', that will add to the book cost. The fee will vary, according to what you want to build and where you want to build it - bigger properties in sought after areas will cost more :)
