Berhof Council
The Berhof Council make all the decisions about Berhof and how it is run. They pay a small ‘rent’ to The Duke oof Krote, but have sovereign-like powers in their own domain. The main councillors tend towards stricter, lawful solutions, although that is tempered by the influence of the other councillors, to be a bit more practical, and to work in favour of the wider community. The overall decisions are generally Neutral, leaning towards Lawful and Good. The councillors are:
- Lord-Dominus, Sir Jorumi Dexaro (Laird of Hallbridges and Lord of the Eastern Province) (TN)
- Lord Governor, Sir Abel Brawden (Hereditary Governor of Berhof and Lord of the Western Province) (LN)
- Lord-Abbot Shaffley (Sage, Abbot of The Tower of the Heavens, and priest of Irori) (LN)
- Nobile Marvelo vanArthog – on his mother’s passing, Marvelo took over the family title, business and responsibilities. Lord Marvello (Nobile) lives in Hallbridges, runs the family magic shop and has founded a school. He serves on the Berhof Council, and acts as an advisor to Sir Joromi in Hallbridges. (CN)
- Sir Seamus, the Laird of Gannoway, founded a small Iomedian Chapel and military school at the Old Keep, and married a local girl. He serves on the Berhof Council. (LG)
- -
- The following are advisory members of the council. Often attending meetings, speaking as they see fit, but rarely having a vote.
- -
- Fern Moonshadow, Warden of the East and Officer of the Berhof Order, manages her responsibilities from her stronghold at Bramble Warren, the first and last settlement on the road to Holden. (NG)
- Cal Brokk, an Officer of the Berhof Order, married Rhawn Brewston the daughter of a local Dwarf brewer. With his patronage (and extra funding) the family business grew, and came to dominate the manufacture of ales and spirits in Hall Bridges and Berhof. He acts as an advisor to Sir Joromi in Hallbridges. (CG)
- Stonewall, an Officer of the Berhof Order, used his earnings to build a self-funding institution to proved care and training for orphans and foundlings in Hall Bridges. He lives on the premises, and owns small apartments that he rents out to fund the orphanage. He acts as an advisor to Sir Joromi in Hallbridges. (NG)
- Mulog the Conflicted, Druid and Officer of the Berhof Order, finally found a wife to live in the swamps and help with his breeding program - which produces the most exceptional frogs. Together they make the local wetlands a dangerous place for invaders or the inexperienced. (TN)
- Papa Kurst, Mayor of Kusnir and Cleric of Erastil. (LG)
