Junction

This small village is located where three roads meet. East the road leads to Northold, West to Bar-z and south goes back down to Granton and Edgemoor. There is a very small tavern here, and the village has plenty of scope for expansion, considering how well connected it is. However, at the moment it is a sleepy rural village, led by Sir Tiberezi the Varisian - a bit of a local hero and a friend to The Smallholders.

  • Junction Fort - Sir Tiberezi (better known as Sir Tib) owns Junction Fort, although he prefers to live and work at Bean Cottage (See below). He employs a small unit of Auxiliary Guards to keep the fort operational, but he is open to renting it out (or perhaps even selling it)- if the right person/people come along. At the moment he uses the main bedroom occasionally and keeps his horse in the stables.
    Note
  • The Pheasant - An alehouse serving the local community, little more than a private house with a bar attached it has space to grow should the opportunity arise. It is ownwed by an ex-soldier called Jacob Reed, who uses part-time staff from the smallholdings as servers - although there is generally only one on duty each evening, during the day Jacob works alone. He doesn't sell hot food (there is no real call for it) but can serve up bread, a bit of cold meat and some fruit as a meal. Most locals drink his ‘Home Brew’ at 2cp/mug, although he also sells Frontier Ale and Knighthome Wine .
  • Bean Cottage - home to Sir Tiberezi the Varisian. Named after the climbing bean plants that grow across the front of the house, Bean Cottage is looked on fondly by the locals. Sir Tib has an interest in farming techniques, and grows fruit bushes in one garden and has vegetable patches in another section, however, he is not interested in starting a farm, or smallholding, of his own. While he makes the decisions about his garden, most of the work is done by workers from the neighbouring smallholdings, and some of his ideas have started to spread, to their homes. Note
