Originating in the lands of Tian Xia, but have been brought to The Shackles by dissidents and Tian Xia pirates - who are based in the Sublime Shogunate of Ushinawa and the Shenchu Bay. However, their use has spread across the shackles and some pirates prefer them to other vessels. While they are smaller, and more expensive, they require fewer sailing crew but can carry a heavy load of siege engines and a decent size marine contingent. If you are happy to make shorter voyagers, and call into ports more frequently, they are a good option.

Deck and sail plans are fairly standard, as the vessel is divided into a number of watertight compartments.
