Galinia

Overview

Galinia is an established part of the Hann Empire, although it has a long history of disruption, and some wonder if it is worth reclaiming, yet again - although Lady Portia Brigand-Shay and her family disagree. Galinia is, just about, self-sustaining - it grows quite a bit of its own food, exports gemstones and animal skins as well as a number of ingredients used in the creation of arcane potions. It isn't a safe place, but it might, just, be sustainable this time.

Settlements

  • Tas Dann - The main town, built on an island, and hub of the Nome Complex. Tas Dann is the administrative centre for Galinia, the main trade port and supports a large community of fisherfolk.
  • Fermont - a small fortified town just across the water from Tas Dann. Its farms grow most of the cereal crops that Galinia needs. It is a part of the Nome Complex.
  • Southferry - A village, on the other side of the inlet. It grows a few crops and gives access to that side of the water - but the area is ripe for development. It is a part of the Nome Complex.
  • -
  • Citadel - the only inland village, to date, based on an old mine where you can still find aventurine and amethyst - it also has a dairy farm with sends cheese back to Tas Dann.
  • -
  • Farfobik - not the original Dwarf mines for the region, that was lost many years ago, and this smaller mine became home to the remaining Dwarves. After years of disruption, necromancy and humanoid hordes - they are, understandably, less open and trusting than most Dwarf communities.

Adventure Areas

  • Citdel Road - if you stick close to the road - the safest place to be. Connects Fermont and Citadel.
  • The Woods - to the West of Citfer road, the woods are home to spiders, beetles and other vermin. Worked by adventurers gathering components for the manufacture of magical items.
  • Lup - to the east of the Citfer Road - this large area of hills and scrubland is home to humanoid tribes and monsters.
  • The Tunnels - under parts of the Citfer Road, they might be full of riches, but ….
  • New Road - less well travelled, this road leads from Citadel to Farfobik - although it hasn't been well explored yet (i.e. it hasn't been written yet)
