House Yitis - have become established as a house without great titles or lands. Instead small branches of the family operate as soldiers, mercenaries or merchants. Often a mix of all three. This is your chance to make a name for yourself. You family have paid the passage, and you are expected to create a family base here. Trait benefit- prof soldier is always a class skill for you and +2 trait bonus.

Professional - craft faction.

Fed up with the guilds that dominate business on your homeland, you have decided to head for the frontier, to develop your skill set. One craft or profession is a class skill for you. This is your chance to become a highly skilled crafter, and make arms, armour and other items for your party.

Areas such as West Telida, Porters Bar and (the place on the west coast) are particularly strict on professional and crafting licences.

This is a Mansion reskinned as a Caster's Tower House. It is a slightly modified version of a tower that I used for a sage who had an interest in the natural world. It iusn't set up as a business, but allows the caster to carry out their research and create occasional items.

This floor plan (along with a few ancillary buildings) could represent a Noble Estate reskinned as a Great Caster's Tower. It has a huge area dedicated to research and personal magic projects - but isn't set up for production of Magic Items on a commercial scale.
