A political union between the three Aldori dominated states east of New Steven. Lady Jamandi Aldori, Countess of East Rostland, and direct descendant of the First Sword Baron, Sirian Aldori, is the defacto leader. She is supported by Baron Khavortorov, leader of the breakaway Khavortorov family, and Ioseph Sellemius, the Lord Mayor of Restov.

It isn’t a homogenous union, and there are difficult political overtones to resolve. The Khavortorov have long been estranged from the other Aldori, having established their position and allies of House Rogarvia – the long term enemy of the traditional Aldori. The Free City of Restov, long an Aldori stronghold, lost it status as home in exile for the Aldori, when the new state of East Rostland was established. While there is still a heavy Aldori influence, the balance of power has swung in favour of the merchant families in the city.

Even East Rostand isn’t secure. While the eastern part of the County is heavily dominated by the Aldori – the west of the county, around and beyond the road, has a number of local lords with no Aldori alleigances. Nor is the county, as a whole, well served by traders and trade routes. Lady Jamandi will have her hands full dealing with the issues in her own state while moulding the association into a strong entity, capable of working well together.
