The Narlmarch

The Narlmarch is, primarily, a heavily wooded area, characterized by small towns, villages and wilderness holdings. Management of the Narlmarch is overseen by a collective of Druids and Rangers, who work to maintain the wild character of the regions. Development in this area is controlled by the collective, and they only allow limited developments that will not spoil the naturalness of this special wilderness.

Taxes are higher than in the rest of Southern Region, so businesses make a smaller profit than they would normally expect. The extra taxes are used to help offset the costs of maintaining the wilderness.

OldKeep An independent town under the control of Lady Zelona, Marchlord of Oldkeep - a druid dedicated to the deity Gozreh. Lady Zelona's troops patrol the surrounding land, to protect the native animals and plant from disturbances.
Tatzleford A small town that sits on the main road between Tusk and Wyvernbridge. They oversee, and patrol, a large are of the adjacent forests.
Northern Narlmarch Reserve A wilderness nature reserve, with restricted access. It is patrolled by scouts from the surrounding area to ensure the security of the Fey who live at the heart of the reserve - and to protect travellers from the tricks, traps and displeasure. The reserve is supported by Lord Henry and Lord Marik.
Iron Keep Lord Marik's forest mine hold that is situated on the edge of the Narlmarch. Note: Details of Lord Marik's holdings at Ironkeep can be found on the Aeris Estates tab of the Midmarch spreadsheet.
