This is an old revision of the document!

West Telida

West Telida is dominated by The Tannery League and Tusk although there are plenty of smaller independent statelets that surround them. Some are already developed as springboard areas for adventures, others are partly written, some have not been explored at all.

The Unaligned States

Maven, in the middle of the central swamp, home of the Sword Lords, is much too proud and chaotic to even consider the idea of joining the Tannery League of The Hann Empire. Lead by competing Aldori Houses, this large town is very definitely CN in outlook - but with a few CE and CG families around. A good place for basing dangerous town adventures, and trips into a swamp. Outside of Maven's protected area, the swamp can be very dangerous.

The northern states tend to look to Tusk for leadership.

  • The first three statelets have (will have) a lot of detail.
  • The Old Frontier - Already built as a springboard area. (Part of an earlier world)
  • Sunsmarch - Has a basic description but will get further development. A smaller, structured Aldori statelet. (Part of an earlier world)
  • Old Keep - Will a basic description followed further development.
  • The following statelets have never been an active part of a game world, and are undefined - apart from the following descriptions.
  • Achehold (NW corner – bordering the sea and the Holdren forest. Higher than normal percentage of 1/2 elves)
  • Pretipark(North bordering the Holdren forest. Higher than normal percentage of 1/2 elves)
  • Far March (North bordering the Holdren forest. Higher than normal percentage of 1/2 elves)
  • -
  • Dinasgate (at the end of the Berhof pass, hilly, bordering the mountains) Looks to Krote for leadership
  • -

The southern states tend to stick together, but decide their own policies. None of these have ever been defined in detail.

  • Hawkmoor (South, hilly, bordering the mountains)
  • Baxey Tors (South, hilly, bordering the mountains)
  • Peningdon Moors - (South East, hilly, bordering the mountains)
  • Rilltops (South East, hilly, bordering the mountains)

Others

There are other settlements that are not part of the league, although they might, one day, be invited to join.

  • The Old Frontier denotes a new area of development and might, one day, become settled enough for inclusion.
  • There are other, undocumented, settlements out there as well.
