Flower Quay
Flower Quay is harbour district of Croston, andcan provide a berth for a small ship , to unload, but larger vessels need to anchor off-shore and transfer goods and passengers via small boats. The dockside is taken up by a couple of watchtowers and warehouses belonging to the FFTC, who also have an office to handle the cargo that arrives here.
Most residents are involved with the fishing industry, there are a number of fishing boats that work from here, and many of the fish are cleaned and preserved in the various fish sheds scattered around the outskirts. Fresh fish is sent up to the main town, or salted and smoked for trade back to Finaroka and beyond. Unlike rural settings, the villagers do not have their own cottages, but live in rented tenement apartments.
The only other building here, is The Wayhouse, dedicated to Way which operates as a simple inn and tavern. Bunks and sleeping spaces in a dormitory can accommodate sailors, travellers, and newly arrived adventurers, while the common room serves the locals as a simple tavern. They have inexpensive bottled ales and wines (but don’t sell spirits), and regularly serve up fish stew for dinner.
