The Imperial Guard contains the best trained, and most loyal troops in the Empire. They are most frequently seen in their Imperial Purple uniforms, with brilliantly shined breastplate, helmet and buckler, armed with a bardiche and short sword.

However, they have a selection of other armour and weapons available, should they need to help mount a proper defence of an Imperial holding. It is rumoured that they have a number of under-cover members, who search out the information and intelligence that their Imperial masters require.
