The Heroes of Sandpoint
by Raven duKassen
- The Heroes of Sandpoint
- The Raven plays softly , and tells you the tale
- of people he knows, who don't like to fail
- They're heroes of Sandpoint, they won't disapoint
- So note them all kindly, and buy them an ale.
- Oktar, the druid, is known to be sour
- The words that he speaks, are often quite dour
- but out in the field, he keeps his eyes peeled,
- and always takes care to step past a flower.
- Lan is a quiet one, and rarely is seen
- Theres no one who knows all the places he's been
- He moves all around, and cannot be found
- and takes it all in, while surveying the scene.
- Able the Merchant is our man of trade,
- He'll buy your old sword and sell you a spade,
- His movements are swift, and he has the gift,
- His fame and fortune? They're both won and made.
- Chuffy’s a noble, and is a great mage
- ‘though rarely he’s seen when reading a page
- His crossbow is ready, his aim is quite steady
- Hunting, for him, will take centre stage.
- Ryka’s a Dwarf, or so she been told
- Her armour and axe are things to behold
- She strikes swift and hard, is ever on guard
- And faces her foe, with blood that runs cold.
A bard's job is to write the stories and big-up his heroes :)
