Training Units
A 'Training' unit consists of a mixture of Cadets, Local Patrol and Basic Soldiers, who take part in the defense of their settlement, but don't have regular peacetime duties. However, senior students often assist other troop types as part of their training.
A 'Basic' soldier is fully trained light infantry soldier, but without the specialist knowledge associated with fully trained troop types. This is the last stage of Sword School Training - raw soldiers, with all the basic knowledge required to be a soldier - but they haven't yet specialized in any particular discipline. During their last few months/weeks of training, Basic Soldiers learn all the skills they need to progress in their chosen career.
In a training school, Cadets and Recruits undertake training and fill the roles normally filled by Auxiliaries in other military buildings

Aldori Infantry
The Standard Aldori mercenary section consists of Aldori soldiers led by an Aldori Elite. The Elite tends to charge into battle using his Dazzling Display and intimidate, with his soldiers following close behind. A full detachment might include three standard and one veteran section, each led by an elite under the command of a Swordlord Elect. They really are some of the most feared mercenary troop types.

They are all about attack, with little thought of defence - A volley of arrows followed by a charge of sword waving horsemen, their mounts trained to bite and kick …. they are also the follow-up troops, chasing and killing enemy soldiers after their ranks have been broken.
