 Of course, those furthest away from New Stetven are the loudest in their support – those closer to the metropolis  tend to be a quieter and less ostentatious.  It is these eastern Aldori who are Lady Jamandi’s strongest supporters.  There may be a few Aldori supporters in West Rostland,  but if they are there, they are keeping a very low profile.

 +==== Duelling ====
 +
 +Duelling, and the Aldori Duelling Sword, is perhaps the biggest single factor that sets Aldori apart from other groups.  Sirian First, the founder of the Aldori was a renowned ++Taldan Duellist| (Presumably Falcata and Buckler)++ who lost his holdings in Rostland in a duel.  He returned later with a brand-new duelling style, and brand-new name - Sirian Aldori.   After winning his holdings back, he went on to establish the state of Rostland and the Aldori duelling tradition.
 +
 +While duelling has always been a popular activity amongst the military and noble families, but for the Aldori it is something more than a military practice and training technique - Aldori Duelling is an important part of their identity.  Other duellist are to be respected and admired, after all the First baron learned to duel with other weapons before he discovered the Aldori style -  but Aldori is best!

 +++++ My take on how Sirian First became Sirian Aldori|
 +  * Sirian First was a Taldan Duellist who lost a duel, and then went away to learn/develop a new duelling technique - but Paizo doesn't tell us where / how.
 +  * Reading descriptions of the Aldori duelling sword it reminds me of a Katana.  Which is a slightly curved, hand-and-a-half sword that can be used in one or two hands.
 +  * There is a route across 'The Crown of the World' to Tian Xia, which gives access to Katana, Samurai and  a selection of new fighting styles.
 +  * Viz:  Sirian First travelled to Tian Xi and learned a new oriental  techniques to add to his extensive duelling knowledge.  The Aldori Style was born.

-The sword pact was broken (or at least severely damaged) after the Valley of Fire.  The three groups went their own ways and each group applied a different version of the Sword Pact.  However, they all still follow the same basic principals and Swordlord, as a title, is reserved for those whoe are fully trained Adori Swordlords. +The original Sword pact had members change thei name to Aldori,swear to a code of honour and not to teach The Art of Aldori duelling to outsiders.  However, the sword pact was broken (or at least severely damaged) after the Valley of Fire.  As the  three groups went their own ways and each group applied a different version of the Sword Pact.  However, all three versions of these //New Sword Pacts// contain something of the originbal - and (in all cases) Swordlord, as a title, is reserved for those who are [[stolen_land:general:duelling#aldori|fully trained Adori Swordlords]]

-In Mivon, all members of an Aldori Noble house can use the Aldori name in (ie Yitis-Aldori) although many times it is not used in general conversation.  In Rostland and Restov the Aldori name was reserved for individuals who achieved SwordLord status So (for example) some members of House Blain would be  called Aldori-Blain, others would just be called Blain.  Few of those who train in the Aldori style become a fully fledged Swordlord and, while there are more who get close (Fighters) there are many who don't (warriors).  These lesser Aldori form the basis of Aldori mercenary units, city guards and other similar functions.   Few of those who train in the Aldori style become a fully fledged Swordlord and, while there are more who get close (Fighters) there are many who don't (warriors).  These lesser Aldori form the basis of Aldori mercenary units, city guards and other similar functions.
