The village is named after The ranch in its hinterland, which was the main attraction of the area for years. Since the road has been extended to the West, it has seen more visitors.

• Bar-Z Watchtower - Sergeant Daly is in command of the watchtower and its small garrison (Midmarch Guard. 1xguard) patrol the local area. He reports to Cdr Ress at Outpost.
• Erastil's Great Shrine - This small hall serves as a temporary resting place for visitors and a communal workspace for the local community - all overseen by one of Fiddler's acolytes.

• Bar-Z Ranch - which specializes in breeding and training horses under the watchful eye of Zorah the Druid. The ranch also has a saddler on-site. You can buy a horse and all the tack you need in one place.
