On the East Sellen River going south from Mivon

You pass the overgrown land of Nystra. It was once home to wealthy silk traders, now overrun with lethal plants, zombies and gargoyles.

Embeth Forest lies in a low-lying area featuring stagnant marshes and low hills. The land does not support farming of any sort and the marshy forest is filled with spiteful sprites and dangerous animals.

South of Embeth The River just grazes the north east tip of Hymbria – another thick forest area patrolled by Elves. Visitors are not welcome.

On the opposite side of the river is Fort Liberthane. This small heavily fortified village is the base for a fanatical movement dedicated to freeing the state of Galt. It is under the control of a Paladin. It is (about) two hundred miles south of Mivon, and is (perhaps) the first safe place for trading vessels to stop for trade.

The River runs alongside the Southwest edge of Galt itself - a nation that has been under the rule of a revolutionary Committee for about 50 years – smaller revolutions change the committee regularly. Most nobles and the wealthy have either been exiled or executed.

Another 200 miles downstream from Fort Libertane you come to Lake Kallas and its only settlement, Riverton. Riverton is a simple village run as Theocracy by a man called The River Preacher, who labels himself as Hanspur’s chosen.

Lake Kallas itself is fed by a number of tributaries – it is the place where the Sellen and East Sellen rivers meet, and then conitues on to the Inner Sea. (It is still known as tThe Sellen River, but it is larger and busier than any of its tributaries.
